Eric Marshall has an extensive knowledge of computer graphics and design with experience in both print and interactive media. Mr. Marshall's work in the entertainment industry includes CD artwork, concert posters and advertising for a variety of musical and sporting events. He has a strong sense of typography and layout developed while working for advertising and design firms in San Francisco and Los Angeles. At electric crayons Mr. Marshall designs specifically for the Web. His comprehensive digital skills let him design for the medium, not around it. He works animating, preparing photographs and illustrating as well as developing logos and typography.

professional history

Prior to electric crayons Mr. Marshall worked in the art department of Bill Graham Presents in San Francisco, the Bay Areas largest concert promoter. He made artwork for major concerts and tours including The Grateful Dead, Beck and Joe Satriani among others. Mr. Marshall has worked in the marketing department of Hotwired online magazine, helped produce "Silicon Valley Radio" as well as having his own design company. He has contracted with advertising agencies including Maritz Communications, Young & Rubicam, Pacific Marketing Group, and Lewis Communications.
